CadetCatch Has Launched

Thank you to everyone who helped test the CadetCatch beta. The CadetCatch iPhone app is now available on the Apple App Store. Search the App Store for CadetCatch to find it.

The beta search has also been expanded. During early testing, each search examined up to 50 candidate matches. That limit is now 300. This should be sufficient for most searches, although some cadets are already being identified in more than 100 photos.

The iPhone app offers several advantages:

• Save photos easily inside the app or directly to your Photos library.
• After your initial search, view only newly added photos instead of reviewing the same results again.
• Coming soon: notifications when a new photo of your cadet is published.

Do not use an iPhone? This beta search will remain available while we build a fully featured website for Android users and anyone who prefers searching from a browser.

For best results, try uploading a couple different clear photos of the cadet’s face. Results are possible matches and should be reviewed manually.
